Welcome to the Elmwood United Methodist Church website. I am truly glad you have chosen to spend a few moments looking around, discovering our church family. As I describe this congregation to people, I use words like ‘community’ and ‘family.’  We are a diverse group of people committed to following Jesus. That means we worship the Lord with all of our heart, soul, intellect and strength. That means we encourage prayer, we read and study God’s word, we love people outside the church through generosity, invitation, and compassion. Our hope is that all people will feel loved and welcomed at Elmwood UMC. We pray that this congregation will become a place of hope, comfort and joy in your life. Come as you are.
